Record-Setting Flooding Impact on Community and DCTA

Recently, Denton County has experienced heavy rain fall. Due to the severe flooding, we have been operating partial A-train service and a northbound and southbound bus bridge from Old Town to Trinity Mills Station. We’re part of the community, and the community was definitely affected by the severe flooding. In fact, we are waiting for water levels to recede so we can properly assess our rail line.

Many places in Denton County are still feeling the effects of the high water and will continue to for several days, or even weeks. Check out the following infographic below to see how the record May rainfall affected the state, local lakes, Denton County and DCTA.
