Fun Things To DoRider Tips

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…and one of the busiest! We all could use a helping hand, and we want to be just that for you during this holiday season.

Spread some holiday cheer!

DCTA can help you make the most of a tight budget (we all know Christmas can be expensive), especially when it comes to getting gifts for your friends and loved ones. Save money by riding DCTA to get to all the local malls and stores to get your shopping done. Here’s a quick guide to get to the major shopping malls in the area:

Golden Triangle Mall in Denton: Take Denton Connect Route 2 and depart between San Jacinto Boulevard and Loop 288 on Colorado Boulevard.

The Shops at Highland Village: Take the Connect Shuttle to the stop at Chinn Chapel Road at FM 407. You can also schedule a direct ride on Community On-Demand from anywhere within the Highland Village Zone or utilize our new discount program with Uber.

Vista Ridge Mall in Lewisville: Take Lewisville Connect Route 22 and depart between MacArthur Boulevard and Lake Vista Drive on East Vista Ridge Mall Drive.

There’s no place like home for the holidays!

Let DCTA get you where you need to be, whether home is in one of our member cities, in the greater Dallas area, or somewhere across the country. Utilize Connect Bus or Connect Shuttle to get around locally, or hop on the A-train to link with DART’s Green Line and get to DFW Airport, Love Field, Amtrak, Megabus, or Greyhound. To learn how, visit our transit connections page on our website.

Have a holly jolly Christmas!

The holidays can be stressful, but they don’t have to be. Let DCTA be your Holiday Helper, so you can get to the fun faster. And don’t forget to check out our official holiday service schedule to make your trip as seamless as possible and plan your travel in advance. From all of us at DCTA, we wish you the happiest of holidays this year!
