Sounds of Lewisville Concert Series (July)
The “Sounds of Lewisville” concert series is a free summertime family event in Old Town Lewisville held weekly in July. Performers include some of the top musical acts in North Texas. Concert goers can ride the A-train to Old Town Station and transfer to Lewisville Connect Route 23 to get to all the musical entertainment. For more information, visit www.soundsoflewisville.com.
Denton Community Market (July-November)
The Denton Community Market is held every Saturday at the Denton County Historical Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come enjoy local eats and good music! Ride the A-train to the Euline Brock Downtown Denton Transit Center (DDTC) and transfer to Denton Connect Route 7 and 8 to get to the Denton County Historical Park. Joseph Hall ELVIS: ROCK N’ Remember (July 15)
Joseph Hall brings his award-winning tribute to the MCL Grand Theater stage in Lewisville on Friday, July 15 at 7:30 p.m. The look, charm, voice and moves will combine for a rockin’ night with the King of Rock & Roll, Elvis Presley. Single ticket prices are $35 for VIP, $30 for adult, $15 for children 12 or under and groups of 8 or more will receive a 20% discount but must contact the performer to purchase tickets. Inaugural Denton Comedy Festival (July 29-30)
Head over to the Basement of J&J’s Pizza on the Square in Denton on Friday, July 29 – Sunday, July 30 at 7 and 8 pm. Dallas’ own, Dan Danzy, will host this comedic event. Ride the A-train to the Euline Brock Downtown Denton Transit Center (DDTC) and take a quick walk to J&J’s Pizza and laugh all night! Mid-Summer Outdoor Concert (July 30)
The 432Hz Ensemble, a dance and drum ensemble based out of North Texas, will be featured by the Denton Public Libraries on Saturday, July 30 at Emily Fowler Library in Denton. This outdoor concert is free for everyone to enjoy! Ride the A-train to the Euline Brock Downtown Denton Transit Center (DDTC) and transfer to Denton Connect Route 6 to listen to the show.
