Denton Texas Story Telling Festival (March 12-15)
Celebrate the history of storytelling all day from Thursday, March 12, through Sunday, March 15, at the Denton Civic Center. Make plans to attend the festival to learn about storytelling as an oral tradition in Texas and watch storytelling as performance art. Sign language interpreters will be available for some stories. Tickets start at $35. To get to the festival, ride our Denton Connect Route 5 or Route 6. If you’re not a Denton resident, you can ride our A-train to the Downtown Denton Transit Center (DDTC) and transfer to Denton Connect routes. Please note, we do not operate service on Sunday. Lewisville St Paddy’s Texas Style (March 14)
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and Texas Independence Day from 12p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, at Wayne Ferguson Plaza in Lewisville. Attend the festival for live music, food, bounce houses, a 40-foot zipline, family fun and more. This event is kid-friendly and FREE, but some activities will require payment. Highland Village World Tour of Chocolate Class (March 18)
Travel the world from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, at the Highland Village Community Center. Join this event to discover the depth of chocolate flavor from around the world. Denton Great American Cleanup (March 21)
Join Keep Denton Beautiful and volunteer from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, at the Denton Civic Center to clean up trash around Denton. This family-friendly event focuses on coming together to help clean up Denton. Hosted by Keep Denton Beautiful, volunteers will have access to lunch, music, educational activities, booths, bounce houses, contests, prizes and more. Denton Thin Line Festival (March 25-29)
Celebrate film, music and photography all day from March 25-29 in Downtown Denton. Attend the festival for feature films, short films, photography, music, family-friendly fun and more.
