Story Time at Gnome Cones – in Denton (Every Friday in January)
Warm up with kid-friendly stories and hot cocoa at Gnome Cones on the Downtown Denton Square. Join the story time from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday starting Jan. 3 for FREE hot cocoa for kids and gnome-themed storybooks. Warm drinks are available to adults for purchase during the story time. Story time and hot cocoa are both FREE! Best Photo Contest – in Highland Village (Ending January 10)
Show off your photography skills in Highland Village in a best photo contest! Take pictures in Highland Village until the January 10 deadline of city parks, city events, nature, wildlife, pets and family fun. The contest is FREE to enter. Art Trading Cards – in Lewisville (January 11)
Join the Visual Arts League of Lewisville from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, for an art trading card workshop at the Medical City of Lewisville Grand Theater. Enjoy the fun of making crafts and a workshop environment, but don’t forget to bring your materials! To participate you must bring art supplies and cards 2.2” by 3.2” to make your cards. Lewisville Traveling Red River Songwriters (January 16)
