First Friday’s in Old Town Lewisville
What’s better than a Friday spent out on the town? Join the Main and Mill Association from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on July 5 to mingle amid the culture in Old Town Lewisville! This event is a perfect opportunity to go shopping, grab a bite from local eateries or to enjoy live music and art installations. Admission and parking are FREE! To get to Wayne Ferguson Plaza and Main Street, ride our A-train to the Old Town station or take our Lewisville Connect Routes 21 and 22. Nature Walk with LLELA
You never know what you will encounter on a nature walk this summer! Join the Lake Lewisville Environmental Learning Area (LLELA) for their monthly Nature Walk on Saturday, July 6, for a chance to see animal tracks, singing birds, trees with personality and more! All ages are welcome to attend this FREE event! To get there, take a trip down our A-train Rail Trail to bypass the $5 per vehicle fee and get to 201 E. Jones Street! Denton Bridal Show
Love is in the air, especially this summer! The Denton Bridal Show is here to help all soon-to-be brides and grooms prepare for the approaching wedding season. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, the Denton Bridal Show will house dozens of vendors, offer food samples, meet photographers and other wedding professionals and more! For only $10, you can attend this event and cross off a few items off your wedding to do list! To get to Monroe Pearson venue, ride our Denton Connect Routes 7 and 8. Have you visited the Wish You Were Here exhibition hosted by Texas Woman’s University (TWU) yet? If not, you have until Sunday, July 28, to attend! TWU is hosting its annual postcard exhibition in its East and West Galleries that allows students, faculty and community members to create original postcard art and view art created by others.
