Our Guide to Your Spring Break Staycation

Don’t have any plans to get away for Spring Break this year – no worries! We’ve got you covered with some fun activities and places to visit right in your backyard that are accessible via transit. Check out all the places you can go without an airplane ticket:
Dallas-Fort Worth Attractions
Dallas Zoo – check out all the various animals. Get their riding transit:
- A-train to Trinity Mills
- Transfer to DART Green Line to West End Station
- Transfer to DART Red Line to Dallas Zoo Station
Klyde Warren Park – the spring season brings warmer weather, so head out to the park. Get their riding transit:
- A-train to Trinity Mills
- Transfer to DART Green Line to St. Paul Station
Perot Museum – learn about cool science facts and natural history. Get their riding transit:
- A-train to Trinity Mills
- Transfer to DART Green Line to Akard Station with a half-mile walk or
- Transfer to DART Green Line to West End Station and then catch DART bus 49, 52 or 59
Fort Work Stockyards – enjoy all the entertainment and shopping venues that capitalize on the “cowtown” image of Fort Worth. Get their riding transit:
- A-train to Trinity Mills
- Transfer to DART Green Line to Victory Station
- Transfer to TRE to Intermodal Transit Center
- Take The T Route 1 or Stockyards Shuttle (Saturday only)
Destination Denton County
Go to the movies – catch up on some of the news releases you’ve wanted to see! Get their riding transit:
- In Denton: Cinemark 14 is on Connect Route 1 and the Movie Tavern is on Connect Route 6.
- In Lewisville: Cinemark 8 is on Connect Route 22, Cinemark 15 is accessible by Connect Routes 21, 22 and 23 and the Studio Movie Grill is right off Connect Route 21.
- In Highland Village: The AMC Theater and the shops at Highland Village are accessible by Connect RSVP.
Go shop to you drop at the many shopping malls and downtown boutiques in the area. Get their riding transit:
- In Denton: Golden Triangle Mall is accessible via Connect Route 2. Don’t forget to check out downtown Denton accessible by the A-train and a short brisk walk.
- In Lewisville: Vista Ridge Mall is accessible by Connect Routes 21, 22 and 23. You can also go to Old Town Lewisville accessible via Connect Route 23.
- In Highland Village: The Shops at Highland Village are accessible by Connect RSVP.
