May 1, 2015

THEATER
- The Wedding Singer (Weekend evenings from May 1-10 at the Campus Theatre) – from the Musical Theatre of Denton: “It’s 1985 and rock-star wannabe Robbie Hart is New Jersey’s favorite wedding singer. He’s the life of the party, until his own fiancee leaves him at the altar.” The Campus Theatre is accessible by Denton Connect Routes 7 and 8.
- The Understudy (Weekend evenings from May 1-17 at the Greater Lewisville Community Theater.) From the Greater Lewisville Community Theater: “Creator of TV’s ‘Smash’, Theresa Rebeck takes us backstage and into the current phenomenon of stunt casting. That occurs when well-known stars are cast in roles over less well-known, but frequently more talented, stage actors.” The Greater Lewisville Community Theater is accessible by Lewisville Connect Route 23.
