#WhyIRideDCTA – Nathan Villarreal
April 27, 2018
Forget needing a car – Denton resident Nathan Villarreal takes DCTA everywhere he goes! Whether he needs to be somewhere at a certain time, go to the store or just take an afternoon ride around town, Nathan knows he can count on DCTA to get him there.
Q: Do you have any advice to offer about riding DCTA to passengers and non-passengers?
A: Map your route out before your departure. The customer service team at the front desk will even print them out for you if you need them to.
Q: What are some of your favorite things to do while riding DCTA?
A: I surf the web, read books and just look at the city as it grows! There’s so much construction going on, so sometimes I just kill two hours riding Denton Connect Route 4.
Q: What do you enjoy the most about riding DCTA?
A: They are professional, punctual and polite. When the weather is terrible, drivers sometimes just pick entire stops and take them to central for free. Now that’s customer appreciation!
Q: Is there anything you’d like to share about yourself?
A: I don’t have a vehicle and I’m not codependent on anyone. Without DCTA, some things would simply be impossible for me.
Thanks for sharing with us, Nathan!
